Car Rentals Terms & Conditions

License Visitors in Cyprus can drive by using a valid International driving license or their National driving license, provided it is valid for the class of the vehicle they wish to drive. Additional Driver A charge of 2 € + VAT per day will be applied for each additional driver (max 3).Unauthorized drivers will be responsible for any damages caused either to the vehicle and passengers and/or third party vehicles and/or property.

Airport Charges All deliveries or collections from Larnaca Airport will charged at 60€ per way and 11€ euro per way for Paphos Airport. When we deliver your car at the Airports our Representative will be there for your arrival and they will be holding a name board with your name on. Our Representatives are very qualified and they will reply to all your questions. When you return the car at the Airport, we kindly ask you to park the car in the Departure Car Park and lock the car.Instructionswill be given to you where to leave the key.

Minimum Age and License Validity All drivers of rental vehicles must hold an EU or International valid driver’s license. The lessee shall be holder of driving license for at least three (3) years and be at least 25 years and not older than 75 years.

Fuel Rates do not include the fuel spent during the renting period. Usually a full tank of fuel is supplied and charged for on delivery of the car .THE FUEL IS NOT REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON. Taxes Our rates include VAT. The customer is liable to pay the VAT for any additional extras.

Payment Rental charges are payable at the time of delivery of the car, by cash (€) or credit cards. No personal cheques are accepted.Also you have the option to prepay for your booking.

Cancellation

If the reservation is cancelled 2 days or more prior to rental start date a cancellation fee of 10% of the prepaid rental amount will apply. If the reservation is cancelled less than 2 day(s) prior to rental start date a cancellation fee of 15% of the prepaid rental amount will apply. No refunds will be given if you fail to collect the vehicle on the rental start date and fail to notify Z & X Drivers Rentals Ltd in writing in advance of this date

Extra Services

Our customers will find at their disposal baby seats and booster seats which must be requested in advance. Daily charge at €2.00 per seat plus VAT

Parking and Traffic Fines

All fines must be paid by the customer to the official goverment offices.

Long Term Rental

Special rates and other conditions are provided for all long term rentals. Extension of your Rental Should you wish to extend your rental beyond the agree date of termination, it is important to inform us as soon as possible. Service Full 24

Minimum Rental

The minimum rental is one day and surcharge 17.00€ on the rental rate.Every hour in excess is calculated at ½ of the day.

Accidents

Every accident involving the vehicle shall be reported at once at our Head offices and to the police . Theft In the event of the vehicle being stolen, please call 112 (for all Cyprus areas) to report this - then please call our offices and inform us of this : +35726945222. The rental agreement will be terminated as soon as Z & X Drivers Rentals received a copy of the theft declaration made by you to the police authorities.

Furthermore Z & X Drivers Rentals will have no responsibility for loss, theft, robbery or damage of whatever nature relating to objects and/or utensils transported or which are found in the Vehicle including, in particular, baggage and/or goods.

On-line bookings

Z & X Group offers its clients ON-LINE booking options for all Villas and Cars. On-line booking entails acceptance of the following conditions: *Management and protection of personal information *On-line booking requires the publication of certain personal information by the user, such as, for example, name and surname, home address, telephone number, credit card details (eg. number and expiry date)etc.

*This personal information (personal data) is stored by Z & X Group in an electronic (or paper) data base in accordance with the terms regulating the protection of persons and personal information, and in accordance with all laws and stipulations in force both in Cyprus and in European law on the subject of consumer protection and commercial transactions conducted over the internet. *The personal information provided by the user and stored in the abovementioned database is confidential.

This information may only be used by any of the Z & X Group for reasons concerning services provided to the user/client by the group, for informing clients about offers, new facilities or services, and in any research and study carried out by the group for creating new services or improving existing services, as well as for statistics and advertising.
